This session is an introduction to Restorative Practices and how to facilitate Restorative Circles with adults and adolescents.  Circles are an essential process for pro-actively building social capital, resolving social problems, and responding when harm occurs. Participants will learn by participating in, and facilitating, Circles with other attendees.

Thelma Ensink is the High School Principal and Head of Education at Grandville Calvin Christian Schools and a former Paramedic for American Medical Response in Grand Rapids. She is a certified trainer for the International Institute for Restorative Practices.
