Scott Vanden Berg is the Director of Instrumental Music at Holland Christian High School, where he has led the bands and orchestras since 2006. He holds a B.A. in Music Education from Dordt College and an M.A. in Orchestral Conducting from California State University, Long Beach. He previously taught at Valley Christian Schools (Calif.) and Sunnyside Christian School (Wash.) In 2014, Scott was awarded the John P. Varineau Outstanding Music Educator Award by the Grand Rapids Symphony and in 2016 his orchestra was chosen to perform at the annual Michigan Music Conference.
